This webinar is for ALGIM Council / CCO members only.
Water and wastewater facilities depend heavily on complex mechanical and electrical assets — pumps, treatment systems, control equipment, and instrumentation — yet the information delivered at project handover is often inconsistent, incomplete, or difficult to use in operations.
This webinar presents a practical Information Management framework based on ISO 19650, specifically adapted for facilities-based water assets. The session will explain how to define, manage, and verify as-built information so that asset owners receive trusted geometry and documentation that supports operations, maintenance, compliance, and future upgrades.
Drawing from real implementation experience, the webinar will cover how teams can perform the Project Information Management (PIM) role, establish clear information requirements, and enable better integration with asset management systems and emerging digital capabilities such as digital twins and IoT.
Attendees will gain practical insights into:
- Structuring information requirements for mechanical and electrical assets
- Improving handover quality and reducing lifecycle risk
- Aligning project delivery with operational asset needs
- Building a foundation for advanced digital asset management
This session is intended for asset owners, engineers, project managers, and information management professionals involved in water infrastructure delivery and operations.
