ALGIM's collaboration platform Viva Engage migration from Yammer is complete after some migration issues needed to be resloved. Users who have access can post on communities they are a member of and we are seeing some posts.

ALGIM is committed to continue growing engagement across the platform, because that’s where the real value lies for everyone.

Joining an ALGIM community is straight forward, with two methods available, a first time community joining, or a community member who wants to join other communities.

This is the First Time to join an ALGIM Engage community

The steps are,

1. Send an email to EngageSupport@algim.org.nz requesting access to ALGIM Engage.

2. You will receive an email asking you to verify access, please respond promptly to this.

3. Once you have access you can see the list of communities, join the "NZ-Councils" and "All Councils NZ & Australia" communities first.

4. From there you can join other communities of your interest.

I want to join other ALGIM Engage communities I am interested in

The steps are,

1. From your Engage left menu select the "Discover communities" link

2. The list of communities will be shown in a tiled view, the communities that you are not a member of will have a "Join" button, click this to join the communities you are  interested in.

3. The community administrator will grant access, and you will be able to collaborate in the new community.
