Infobase is an innovative online resource which provides your council with a comprehensive database of vendors, products, and services that councils are using.

The platform helps participating councils understand what technology solutions are being used elsewhere. It provides a structured way to search for systems, products, vendors and services, rather than relying on informal emails, phone calls or personal contacts.

Councils often need to understand what other councils are using before replacing, procuring or developing a system. This information is not always held in one place and may need to be gathered through informal networks, direct contact or individual surveys.

Infobase is a global platform used by councils from United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, Infobase is a multi-national tool that includes software applications, statistics, systems, mobile app, shared services, syndicated procurement, satisfaction ratings and projects.

Infobase provides a structured place to record and find this information. It supports solution discovery, peer learning, visibility of systems already in use, awareness of vendors and products, and wider understanding of technology arrangements across participating councils.
