Diane’s tale is one of “redefining success”. During her 21 years of building 5 successful hi-tech companies with her husband, success was defined as a growing and selling the businesses, high growth revenue, new customers, new tech and annual awards.
Hear about how she made brave leap to leave this behind and redefine her own personal success outside of the business world, into her passion of photography, and how she’s now turning that again into a successful business.

About the Presenter:

Diane Prow
Travel Photographer, Diane Prow Photography

Diane was the Co-Founder of several hi-tech and cyber security companies, including RedShield Security and Aura Information Security. Diane, with her husband Andy, grew these companies with an international staff and customer base, to be New Zealand’s leading cyber-security companies, winning awards such as the NZ Hi-Tech Awards, the Wellington Gold Awards, the Deloitte NZ Fast 50 and APAC Tech Fast 50, and the ANZIAs (Australian New Zealand Internet Awards).

After 21 years Diane’s moved on from the tech world, to follow her lifetime passion of photography, travelling the globe (pre-Covid) with remote expeditions including Peru, Galapagos, Africa, China and even Antarctica. Through her travels she also became the #1 Trip Advisor in NZ, with over 1.7 million readers of her 6,000+ reviews. Putting these two skills together she now has a growing business producing stunning landscape images, as well as items such as unique coffee table books, for luxury lodges and businesses currently in New Zealand, but is looking to a global market as the world reopens.
