I started my career as a shepherd, shearer, scrubcutter, bulldozer and motor scraper driver, then got a maths and physics degree.
I then worked for the Ministry of Energy, Shell and Transpower before setting up my own business 28 years ago.
I've worked with 63 councils and over 100 private sector clients.
Most of our work is now in procurement, project management, contract management and negotiation. I've personally run over 350 procurement projects, and over 115 of these have been in the last 7 years.
These range from small projects through to multi million dollar construction projects.
I've set up a number of collaborative styled maintenance contracts and Alliances, and also done a number of Early Contractor Involvement contracts.
