Session Info:11:00 AM: A Study on Facilitating Community Involvement through the Community Engagement App Introduction and demonstration of the Community Engagement App. The Community Engagement App allows community members to engage in secure two-way communication with their local councils, enabling them to report issues, receive community alerts, and stay updated on organisational news. The App offers customisation options enabling councils to include their branding, making it easier to promote the application as their own and integrate it into their website. 1:00PM: Automating Accounts Payable Helping local government finance teams improve efficiencies by automating their accounts payable function. Xtracta is currently helping Kaipara, Waitomo and Central Otago. 2:15PM: Using AI to Extract and Classify Documents Many local government organisations store and process huge numbers of documents, from forms and certificates to building and engineering drawings. If we can train fast advancing AI technology to extract and classify data, then our communities could potentially save money while our councils can put resource into other projects that are important to our communities. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ |
