As you will be aware Archives NZ have issued a draft new standard for “Records and Information Management”. Please refer to ALGIM post for more information. http://www.algim.org.nz/news/Records_and_Information_Management_Standard/
They have created two workshops for consultation and discussion one in Auckland (22nd April) and one in Wellington (26th April) with close of feedback on the 4th May.
ALGIM is concerned with such a short period for consultation, and the cost of travel for a 1 hour workshop, that many Local Authorities will not participate.
ALGIM is therefore offering to host a conference call with Archives NZ on Thursday the 21st at 11:30am for those interested. If numbers are greater than we believe we will convert to a webinar however we want the ability to discuss any issues with the new standard.

If interested in being part of a discussion with Archives (DIA) and not having to travel please register your interest by 12 noon on Wednesday 20th by emailing admin@algim.org.nz
