ISO 15489 Records Management is the foundation standard for the International Organisation for Standards (ISO) Archives and Records Management Committee TC46 / SC11.

This webinar will take you on a journey through the workings of this committee, its leading role in improving best practices in managing records through standards and New Zealand's participation in the work at an international level.

The outcome for you will be a better understanding of the standards available and how their use can support and inform the work you do in our rapidly changing environment.



About the Presenter:  Andrea McIntosh

Andrea has been working in the international standards space for a number of years and has been convener for the NZ International Review Group for Recordkeeping Standards (mirror committee for ISO) since 2016.

A skilled and passionate leader in the information management space currently working in Local Government in Whangarei.  Andrea has also been on the ALGIM board and continues to support the sector nationally through standards work.

Andrea recently came out of retirement as a football goalie and is finding the physical effort has been good for the soul and balancing the intensity of thinking work despite the aging knees...
