This session will look at the principles behind the latest best practice for identification management and prevention of identity theft.  

It will bust a few myths in the process and provide a brief introduction to the newly developed identification Standards and Guidance.

There will also be plenty of time to answer your burning questions.


About the Presenter:  Joanne Knight - Senior Advisor DIA

Joanne Knight is a Senior Advisor at the Department of Internal Affairs, Te Tari Taiwhenua (New Zealand).

She was heavily involved in the development of New Zealand's Evidence of Identity Standard.

She is currently the custodian of the Standard and responsible for its promotion and ongoing development.  Day to day she provides identity advisory services to government.  Joanne has developed a new suite of identification management standards for New Zealand.
