Recognising the best of web & digital and customer experience

Our Spring Awards are all about recognising the best in local government customer experience and web & digital. This year we've revamped our awards to streamline the awards we're giving out, and recognise the increasing crossover between CX and web & digital.

Finalists announced!

The finalists for the Best Customer Centric Project, and Best Digital Service Awards have been announced. These eight councils will be presenting at the conference.

Best Customer Centric Project:

  • Auckland Council - Creating an enhanced experience for property rates and revaluations
  • Waikato District Council - Going cash free in a way that worked for customers, staff, and stakeholders
  • Tauranga City Council - Using Net Promoter Score for customer advocacy and feedback
  • Porirua City Council - Putting our customers first: Changing who we are, and the way we carry out our everyday mahi

Best Digital Service:

  • Matama-Piako District Council - Driving community engagement with World Challenge Day using digital tools
  • Taranaki Regional Council - A web-based campaign to contribute to the discussion of fresh water quality
  • Whanganui District Council - Taking an art gallery's entire collection online
  • Waipa District Council - What's the story? Using modern tech to explore the past and decide our future together

The winners of our other awards, including the Supreme Website and Best Customer Experience will also be announced at our awards dinner on Monday 10 September.


Entries nominations are now CLOSED. Results will be announced at the Spring Conference awards evening on the 10th September 2018.
