IPv6 Adoption within Local Government

ALGIM's research paper for 2011 focussed on IPv6 Adoption within Local Government.  ALGIM enlisted the help of Dr Murray Milner, Convenor of the New Zealand IPv6 Task Force to prepare this whitepaper.

This whitepaper is expected to provide a roadmap for the adoption of IPv6.

Shared Services in NZ Local Government

ALGIM's research paper for 2010 focussed on Shared Services in NZ Local Government.  ALGIM enlisted the help of Jeff Shaw of Destin Consulting to prepare this white paper and includes case studies from six  councils.

ALGIM E-Democracy Survey

One of ALIGM's major initiatives for 2009 was to produce a whitepaper and roadmap on "E-democracy for NZ Local Government". We enlisted the help of Carol Hayward who is (formerly from Bristol City Council and a leader in this field).  She is currently working for Rodney District Council.

The ALGIM e-democracy whitepaper was released at the 29th ALGIM Annual Conference in November 2009.

Unified Communications Features in NZ Councils
