GIS and IRM Project of the Year Award finalists announced ahead of ALGIM's Autumn Conference

ALGIM's Autumn conference is only weeks away now (if you haven't already registered to attend, make sure you do that now), and with the conference comes the big ALGIM Project of the Year Award for both GIS and Information & Records Management.

We are pleased to announce the finalists for these awards.

Finalists GIS Project of the Year:

  • Palmerston North City Council - Workforce Project
  • Far North District Council - Let's Plan Together: Community engagement in district planning
  • New Plymouth District Council - Waahi Tapu and Archaeological Sites Review: Using a GIS platform to support a collaborative planning process
  • Stratford District Council - Stratford Parking Bylaw Schedule Review

Finalists Information and Records Management Project of the Year:

  • Wellington City Council - A Collaborative Approach to Managing a Project: Wellington City Archives Search and Reporting Interface
  • Horowhenua District Council - Good to Great Journey
  • Northland Regional Council - Council Dashboard Implementation
  • Taupo District Council - Treasures from the Garage: Community archives

These awards are just part of the awesome programme we have lined up for the 2017 ALGIM Autumn Conference. Check out the entire programme which features experts like Dr Catherine Ball, a leader in drone technology, and Andrew Downie, who embraced open data and took the City of Greater Geelong on a process of digital transformation.
