Where is Digital Engagement taking us and how will we get there? The programme has a strong focus on Digital Communities and what that means for Local Government.

Latest programme additions:

  • Keren Flavell from Townhall about the future of community engagement for Councils using social media
  • Bang the Table on Community Engagement knowledge base
  • Case Studies from Christchurch City Council, Napier City Council and Auckland Council
  • Alex Gelbak from Seamless will close the symposium with a global perspective on the future of digital engagement with Local Government
  • Step 2 will present on Intranets and their role within communication channels for Local Government
  • Cucumber Digital will run a 2-hr workshop on Google Analytics

This event provides your Web and Communications team with the opportunity to learn from and network with other like minded professionals from the public and private sectors.

Feedback from previous years shows that one of the key reasons Local Authorities choose to attend the event is for the opportunity to hear quality speakers and real life case studies that can be implemented in their own organisation.

If you have a case study you would like to present at the 2016 ALGIM Web and Digital Symposium, please submit your proposal to Krystal Waine, Events Coordinator on 06 351 6336 email events@algim.org.nz
