The 2014 International ALGIM Conference was held 24 - 26 November 2014 at The Langham Hotel in Auckland. It was an opportunity to hear and see the latest innovations being undertaken throughout New Zealand Local Government. It is the 34th year the ALGIM Conference has been held, and this year hosted all of ALGIM’s sister organisations from throughout the world.

This premier event attracted delegates, speakers and vendors from all around the globe who met for invaluable networking opportunities and intensive professional development over 3 days.
The Annual ALGIM Conference has been heralded by attendees as the best event for interacting and obtaining knowledge. This year it continued to deliver outstanding value to its sponsors, exhibitors, vendors and ALGIM members – the local authorities of New Zealand.
The event also showcased leading local government case studies - both nationally and internationally. This year the programme focused on ‘Smarter Local Government’.

2014 Annual ALGIM Awards
The Annual ALGIM Awards recognise and celebrate best practice within local government information technology and information management. They aim to encourage local authorities to be innovative and to exercise technological leadership through services to its community. The awards also promote the image of local government ICT throughout the wider community.
