2011 ALGIM Council Website Evaluation and Audit

Early in 2011, the Association of Local Government Information Management (ALGIM) conducted its annual survey of council websites throughout New Zealand to assess sites from a technical and accessibility perspective.  This external review of all 78 councils assess compliance against the Government Web Standards, some online services and accessibility.  The results of the evaluation were announced at the 2011 ALGIM Web Symposium.

An online sub-survey was also open for councils to complete and to provide an overview of how they manage their website, what software applications they use and online functionality provided.
