About ALGIM Spring Conference

The 2017 Spring Conference will be held 17th - 19th September 2017 at Dunedin Centre, Dunedin.

This new event joins together ALGIM two most popular Symposiums - Web & Digital and Customer Experience (previously Customer Service). Offering professional development, world class international speakers, workshops and networking, this will be the premier event for anyone in these fields, and will bring together practitioners from across all New Zealand's Councils. 

The theme for this year’s event is Customer service transformation in the digital era.

We have an amazing line up of speakers including:

-  Justin Herman, Program Lead for AI, VR and Social Tech for the US Government

-  Linda Hutchings who will challenge our thinking about the future

-  Alex Gelbak on artificial intelligence in a local government world

-  Ian Taylor from Animation Research – the company behind the amazing technology of the
    America's Cup

-  Dave Wild a Futurist who will take us beyond digital

-  Callum McKirdy who will lead a workshop on reconnecting with staff for a better
    experience in the digitised workplace

-   Plus over 20 case studies and the options to choose a site visit to local customer service
    and web & digital organisations

There a variety of registration options available. Whether you're a delegate wanting to attend, or an exhibitor who would like to have a stand at the conference, check out our registration fees. The ALGIM Web & Digital Awards and Customer Experience Awards recognise and celebrate best practice in web and digital and customer service respectively amongst New Zealand Local Authorities.  They aim to encourage Local Government to be innovative, service-focused and recognised in supporting their organisation and communities of interest.
