The Supreme Website Award is judged by ALGIM and is a non-nomination award.  The results for this award are based on an evaluation of participating New Zealand council websites against New Zealand Government Web Standards (self assessment), Accessibility (RNZFB assessment) and Enquiry Response Testing (conducted by ALGIM).  The New Zealand Government Web Standards are sourced from documentation supplied from the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA).

To be eligible for consideration for the Supreme Website Award your Council is required to complete the ‘ALGIM Web Audit 2012: NZ Government Web Standards Self Assessment Survey’.  A link to this survey was distributed via email to all local authorities inviting them to participate on Monday 27 February 2012.

Overall rankings published by ALGIM will highlight those Councils who did not complete the ‘Self Assessment Survey’.

Contact Jenny Cullinan-Nevell, Survey Administrator, on +64 (06) 351 6334 or email admin@algim.org.nz to request the survey link or to be advised who within your organisation has received the link.
