This award allows a local authority to demonstrate performance of it’s customer service interface.  This includes both front of house and contact centre.  Local Authorities are asked to submit their customer service key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance against these KPIs for the 2010/2011 financial year.

The award enables a Local Authority to be benchmarked against its peers and judged as to who will be recognised as the Ultimate Local Government Customer Service Centre.

In addition to Council’s providing their KPIs as described above, your entry will require a 400 – 500 word description outlining your Council’s achievements in delivering customer service and why your Council should be judged as the Ultimate Local Government Customer Service Centre.
